Some pelvic floor lengthening and relaxation is beneficial for all of us. For our muscles to be healthy and functional, it's important to both engage them through their full range of motion AND to lengthen and relax them fully. This helps us avoid chronic tension, which can lead to pain and other symptoms. It's also important to allow the muscles to relax when we are not actively working them.
